Having lived the majority of my life in Stockholm, I have recently re-located to Brisbane as a permanent resident with my family. Since doing an exchange semester in Perth in 2005, I have visited Australia many times with the long-term goal of moving here. As a family we are now committed to making our lives here in Australia.
My university training and professional experience have been focused on human-computer interaction and user-centred design, majoring in interaction design. As an interaction/UX designer, my professional experience has been with Svenska Handelsbanken AB in Stockholm, dating from my Masters Thesis Project, which I completed with them in early 2012. My professional relationship with Handelsbanken continued with my employment from May 2012, initially as a Consultant and then as an employee from May 2015. More recently, since moving to Australia, I have been working with Brisbane startup Sniip.
I am a driven and committed professional who wishes to develop further within my field. I readily pick up new tasks, and work very well both in groups and individually. I am seeking an opportunity to work in a Brisbane company or organisation that offers me new challenges to add value, as well as opportunities for professional and personal growth. I wish to make a difference in the rapidly changing UX-field, and to make positive contributions to a company or organisation committed to moving in this direction.
